Get to know Savet Constantine

Savet Constantine, a state representative candidate, for the 42nd District serving New Canaan, Wilton and Ridgefield, is a former marketing executive and has served as president of Wilton PTAs. In a press release announcing her candidacy, Constantine said: “The future in Connecticut has never been brighter, but that doesn’t mean there’s not work to do. I’m running to make sure that important work gets done and supports the best interests of our towns.”

Constantine has an undergrad degree from Carleton College and a masters in International Affairs from Columbia University. She and her husband have lived in Wilton for 20 years and raised two children in town. Her work on PTA issues solidified her interest in working on fiscal and education issues and others affecting children and families.

As the officially endorsed Democratic candidate for state representative in the 42nd District, Constantine is running for state office for the first time. She was unanimously endorsed by delegates from the towns in the 42nd legislative district, including Wilton, New Canaan, and Ridgefield.

Following her endorsements, Constantine said she was “honored and humbled” for the chance to serve the community.

“Running for office isn’t about me. It’s about our communities and the future we all share. With the right leadership, we can make sure our towns stay wonderful places to live, work, and raise a family,” she said.
