Time To Shine Annual BBQ

As we head into August, the election season is amping up. To raise the curtain on this year’s fall campaigns, the New Canaan Democratic Town Committee (DTC) will be hosting its annual fundraiser barbecue under the banner “Time to Shine,” on September 8, from 4-7 p.m. As New Canaan Democrats, we have many reasons to celebrate, especially with Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket and an exceptional slate of CT Democratic candidates

Giving substance to the DTC’s theme,  “Time To Shine,”  the barbecue’s attendance has grown substantially in recent years, aligning with our party’s growth, and gives rise to the optimistic vision we share for our country, our state and our town. At the barbecue, you’ll enjoy plenty of good food, drink and a main course of  inspiring  speeches from our outstanding elected leaders who serve us in Congress and the State House. And, we can’t talk about it, but there may even be some surprise guests, too. You’ll be able to hear directly from our candidates about how  important  this election is and how they intend to keep the country and CT moving forward, not backwards.   

You know how much is at stake in this year’s election. We need your support in any way you can to help us get-out-the vote. Whether it’s by sending out mailers, walking door-to-door with our candidates, phoning voters or just talking with friends and family about our terrific candidates and why you believe in them, we hope you will join us in engaging New Canaan voters. Being at the barbecue is an invaluable way to meet your candidates, learn about what they have accomplished and show your support for the good they still want to achieve.
