Stand Together Against Racism hosted their second annual Community Juneteenth Celebration was a huge success! The soul food from Miss Thelma's was out of this world, we painted alongside artist 5iveFingaz who lead us in creating a community graffiti wall for Juneteenth, while we enjoyed the amazing music from The Misfits! This new tradition is becoming one of our favorites bringing the whole community together and celebrating such a significant day.

Courage to Lead

We acknowledged two of our long serving and dedicated elected officials: Kathleen Corbet (Selectman) and Penny Rashin (Board of Education Member). We mingled with like minded New Canaanites and listened to stories of both Kathleen and Penny and how they have played a role in all our lives as residents here in New Canaan. It was an honor and a privilege to thank them for their continued leadership.
